The 6 Beauty Products I’m Buying on Sale This Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day is, as it turns out, a very good holiday for beauty lovers. There are serious discounts on coveted skincare, makeup, and hair products across the internet. So if you’ve been eyeing certain pricey products for awhile, but have yet to click “buy,” now would be a great time to finally go for it. Below, a handful of deeply discounted, cruelty-free beauty products, including some I already own (and think you should, too), and others that I’m strongly considering buying on sale this weekend.

Make Beauty is one of my all-time favorite makeup brands, and through May 27, it’s giving shoppers 25 percent off sitewide. I’m pretty much obsessed with everything from its line that I own, but if I had to choose, I would tell you to buy its Bisou Bisou lip and cheek stain (which is, without a doubt, a summer makeup staple of mine). The vegan formula is a gorgeous burnt-siena color that gives lips and cheeks the most beautiful flush.

These (extremely) travel-friendly exfoliating peel pads have totally won my heart — and are now 20 percent off at Dermstore! I love them, but I don’t love paying $150 for a set of 60, so the Memorial Day discount makes all the difference. Each pad is packed with AHAs, BHAs, vitamins, and antioxidants; they’re ideal for those with acne, texture, or hyperpigmentation issues.

If you suffer from bleached, frizzy, or tangled tresses, this hair mask is one of the best there is. First of all, it smells amazing (I almost always get compliments on my scent after I use it). More importantly, it works: You’ll notice silkier, softer hair with fewer flyaways after just one use. I put it on after shampooing, let it sit for 5–10 minutes, and then rinse it out.

I’ve written about how much I love these eye gels before. They’re my go-to for makeup prep or after late nights out and about. The gels are made with a mixture of shea butter and olive oil (for hydration), Ginkgo Biloba (to reduce puffiness), and antioxidant Co-Q10, which neutralizes free radicals to create a glowy, radiant complexion. They’re extremely cooling and hydrating under the eyes, and, unlike other similar products, don’t slip-slide around when you put them on.

Brush soap, which is used to keep beauty blenders and brushes clean, can feel like kind of an anticlimactic purchase. But it’s a necessity for anyone who regularly uses makeup tools, and getting it at 20 percent off definitely feels more exciting. This set comes with a lavender-scented, aloe-infused bar of soap that’ll ensure your brushes are squeaky clean and bacteria free.

One of the most famous contour and highlight palettes on the market is half off until May 27 (seriously, at $25, it’s a steal). The super-creamy, ultrablendable formula is beloved by many makeup artists — most notably Nikki Wolff (my absolute favorite makeup artist), who’s known for creating flawless, sculpted-looking skin. Each palette includes three different contour shades and three different highlight shades, which you can mix together to create a bespoke color that perfectly matches your skin.
