The Buffy Comforter (‘Like Sleeping Under Cotton Candy’) Is on Sale (Again)

We here at the Strategist are big fans of Buffy. Writer Lori Keong, in fact, tested this environmentally friendly “duvet in a box” start-up last winter, and described her experience with it: “[The Buffy] is tremendously soft, light, and cool to the touch right out of the box, and sleeping beneath it, you feel nestled under an airy but cozy canopy. Maybe it’s because I knew the thing was full of spun fibers, but the Buffy really does feel like sleeping under a pile of cotton candy.” An added bonus is that its insides are not made with down feathers but instead 100 percent recycled plastic bottles (!), and its biodegradable shell is sourced from eucalyptus. Last week, it was on sale at Huckberry, and right now (and today only) it’s on sale at Amazon in twin, queen, and king. (Incidentally, Keong also tested and very much liked Buffy’s lighter-weight Breeze blanket, but that’s not on sale, alas.)

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
