Even if you’re only walking from the couch to the kitchen these days, a fitness tracker can give you the boost you need to actually stand up and get those steps in (and maybe, you know, a few more). Right now, you can buy a Fitbit Versa smartwatch for $130 — 35 percent off the original price — to track steps, calories burned, heart rate, sleep, and more. It also features a bunch of exercise modes that track your activity more accurately during at home workouts that don’t involve many actual steps, like yoga or interval workouts. The Versa isn’t just a fitness tracker, though. You can link it up with your phone to view calls, texts, and calendar alerts, as well as access a variety of apps, and store up to 300 songs to play on your wireless headphones. Fitbit released the Versa 2 late last year with Amazon Alexa integration and a slightly longer battery life, but the guts of the watch are very similar, so you might as well save some money.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
