While there will be plenty of great sales to shop this Fourth of July weekend, none will likely offer more bang for your buck than the many mattress deals. Pretty much all of our favorite brands are offering serious discounts on mattresses, and many are throwing in extra savings on sheetsblankets, and pillows too. (If you’re not sure which mattress is right for you, check out our handy guide.) Read on for some of the best Fourth of July mattress deals, and note that the starting prices listed are for queen-size mattresses.

Allswell

Allswell, the maker of a very good firm mattress, is offering 15 percent off its Luxe and Supreme mattresses with the code SLEEP15. The 12-inch-tall Luxe has a hybrid coil-and-foam construction, while the 14-inch-tall Supreme has an additional temperature-regulating foam layer and Euro-style cotton pillow top.

Aviya

Aviya Mattress - Queen
$1,049

Aviya, which makes a mattress that former Strategist writer Lori Keong called “plush yet delightfully bouncy,” is offering $200 off that mattress with the code STRAT200.

Avocado

Avocado, our top pick for the most ecofriendly mattress, is offering several deals, each with unique codes. They are as follows: $200 off any mattress with the code STRATAVO; $150 off when you buy a bed frame and mattress with the code BED150; $400 off an adjustable base with the code ELEVATE400; and two pillows free with mattress purchase with code 2FREEPILLOWS. Plus, they’re offering an additional $50 off any purchase to verified nurses, doctors, emergency medical technicians, military personnel, service workers, and educators. And, importantly, these deals are stackable — so you can use more than one as long as you meet each’s criteria for purchase.

Bear

Bear is offering 20 percent off sitewide (including its mattresses, which are ideal for athletes) when you purchase using the code STRAT20 — and it’ll toss in two free cloud pillows too. If you prefer a hybrid mattress, Bear’s is also on sale.

Birch by Helix

Birch — the “all-natural” label by Helix (which makes mattresses that generally run soft) — is offering $200 off its mattress with the code STRAT200.

Casper

$995

The mattress-in-a-box brand that started it all is offering 15 percent off all of its models. While its Original foam mattress is not ideal for hot sleepers, former Strategist editor Margaret Rhodes says, “For everyone else, you can’t go wrong.” If you prefer a hybrid, the Casper Wave Hybrid has both contoured foam and dome-shaped gel pods to provide ergonomic support for your back, neck, and shoulders. We also like the Casper Element Mattress — the brand’s most basic offering — that we’ve said makes a great choice for kids.

Cocoon by Sealy

Cocoon by Sealy is giving customers 35 percent off any of its Chill mattresses, which are designed to absorb and dissipate heat for a cooler night’s sleep.

Eight Sleep

This Fourth of July, you can get $150 off Eight Sleep’s Sleep Pod or Sleep Pod Pro mattresses with the code STRAT. The Sleep Pod is a “smart” bed that has an app you can use to track your sleep on your smart phone, and the Pro is a fancier version that includes a foam topper, ambient sensors to measure room temperature and local weather, so-called GentleRise wake-up technology, and twice the number of sensors for heart-rate monitoring. Eight Sleep is also offering a separate deal if you’re not in the market for a new mattress: 20 percent off all individual accessories using the code STRAT 20.

Helix

Helix has a tiered deal exclusively for Strategist readers: Get $100 off when you spend $600 or more on any mattress with code STRAT100; get $150 off when you spend $1,250 or more with code STRAT150; or get $200 off when you spend $1,750 or more with code STRAT200. Any purchase will also get you two free microfiber Dream pillows.

Layla Sleep

Layla Sleep is offering $150 off its memory-foam mattress and $200 off its hybrid foam-and-coil mattress. It’s also throwing in two free memory-foam pillows (a $150 value) with any mattress purchase. The code STRATEGIST gives our readers an additional $10 off. In addition to those discounts, the company also has deals on weighted blankets, bamboo sheets, and memory-foam toppers.

Leesa

$1,144

Leesa is offering up to $350 off its mattresses, depending on which size and type you choose. One of the best deals you can get is $125 off its original queen-size mattress, which Strategist managing editor Maxine Builder (a self-described stomach sleeper) says “should suit all kinds of sleepers.” Plus, the brand is throwing in a free set of organic cotton sheets (up to $159 value) with any mattress purchase.

Molecule

Molecule is taking 20 percent off its all-foam Molecule 1 mattress, which has a cover that wicks heat and moisture to keep sleepers cool. The discount will be automatically applied at checkout, no code needed. Plus, it’s throwing in a free percale or sateen sheet set (a $219 value) with every mattress purchase. And if you’re happy with your mattress but want to upgrade your entire bedding situation, you can use our exclusive code STRAT25 to take 25 percent off all toppers, sheets, and other accessories.

Nest Bedding

Nest Bedding is offering 20 percent off to customers who spend more than $150. That means you can save a couple hundred bucks on this hybrid foam-and-coil mattress that Strategist senior editor Anthony Rotunno says offers “a smooth transition into the world of foam mattresses for sleepers who also crave some springiness.”

PlushBeds

PlushBeds is offering $1,200 off its organic mattresses, plus the company is throwing in a free organic cotton sheet set with purchase. It is also taking 20 percent off all mattress toppers and bedding. (We particularly like this ash-gray–colored weighted blanket). And, with the exclusive code STRAT20, Strategist readers can take an additional $100 off the purchase of any of those already on-sale mattresses or accessories.

Purple

Over at Purple, you can get $100 off the original mattress, $125 off a hybrid mattress, or $150 off its Hybrid Premier, all of which are discounted at checkout. “Avowed side-sleeper” and former Strategist deputy editor Jason Chen says, “Purple’s anomalous materials are well suited to those who sleep hot and hate foam.” To complete your new bedroom setup, the company is also offering $200 off its bedding bundle — a normally $531 package that includes two latex Harmony pillows, bamboo sheets, and a mattress protector — with each mattress purchase.

Saatva

$1,795

From now through July 4, Saatva is taking $200 off any $1,000-plus purchase of its organic and ecofriendly mattresses, with no code necessary. The brand’s classic option is our pick for those who could use extra lumbar support or who prefer a true firm mattress.

Serta

Now through July 13, Serta is offering $200 off its iComfort mattress, known for its breathable, temperature-regulating foam.

Tempur-Pedic

Hot sleepers can save $500 on any Tempur Breeze mattress, which the company says disperses your body heat throughout the night to keep you cool. The discount is applied automatically at checkout.

Tuft & Needle

$1,495

Tuft & Needle — which makes mattresses that we’ve called major crowd-pleasers for foam-mattress lovers — is offering $150 off purchases of $800 or more and $250 off purchases of $1,200 or more. Both discounts are applied at checkout.

Wink Beds

WinkBed Mattress
$1,499

WinkBeds is giving costumers $300 off any mattress with the code STRAT300. Strategist senior editor Katy Schneider praised the brand’s quality construction: “From top to bottom, these have a thin layer of foam (for comfiness), air springs (to keep things cool), a support pad (to keep your lumbar area well supported), and tempered steel coils (for pushback, and to keep the mattress from losing shape).”

Yogasleep

Exclusively to Strategist readers, Yogasleep is offering 20 percent off its foam Yogabed with the code STRAT20. According to the brand, the mattress evenly disperses your body weight to reduce pressure points as you sleep. If you don’t need a mattress, you can use the same code to get 20 percent off a Dohm noise machine, a favorite gadget of Strategist editorstherapists, and acupuncturists alike.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
