10 Things That’ll Almost Definitely Sell Out: From Oakley to Post Malone’s Sunglasses

In our second summer-2020 edition of Don’t Dillydally — our roundup of newly released products that will almost definitely sell out — we’ve got a lot to be excited about. There are Post Malone x Arnette collaboration sunglasses, limited-edition Chacos from Huckberry, and brand new airy textiles perfect for hot weather from our friends at Brooklinen and Parachute.

Post Malone x Arnette

Sunglass brand Arnette’s newest collaboration with rapper and producer Post Malone features iconic ’90s shapes and Malone’s own face tattoo “Always Tired” subtly dropped out of the tinted lenses, like a real-life Instagram filter. The whole collection is made of sustainable bioplastic and available for purchase at Sunglass Hut.

Brooklinen Waffle Robes and Towels

Brooklinen launched brand new waffle robes and towels this week — great news for anyone who prefers the feel of thin summer-weight towels to thick plush ones. Both the robe and towels feature 100 percent Turkish cotton and what the brand calls a goldilocks square design: the perfect size to soak up water and dry fast. The towel bundle is available in four colors and includes two bath towels, two hand towels, and a bath mat.

Oakley Kokoro Collection

Oakley has teamed up with Tokyo-born, Brooklyn-based artist Meguru Yamaguchi to create the Kokoro collection. The collection, launching today, commemorates the day when the world’s best athletes should have competed at the Olympics but can’t due to the coronavirus. Each pair of sunglasses from the collection is totally one of a kind thanks to a machine created by Oakley engineers to replicate Meguru’s style of brushstrokes. In addition, Oakley is donating $200,000 to support the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization.

Pura Vida x Vera Bradley Face Mask

Pura Vida’s collaboration masks with popular patterned-bag brand Vera Bradley are made of 100 percent soft and breathable cotton and feature two layers of fabric, an opening for a disposable filter (that you can buy separately), and elastic ear straps.

Rothy’s knit masks

Rothy’s fabric face masks have already sold out once before. They are made using the same 3-D knitting technology the brand uses for their shoes (Megan Markle is a fan). This gives them a molded fit while saving on fabric waste. They feature stretchy ear loops, a bendable nose strip and are fully machine washable. (Just don’t put them in the dryer.)

Huckberry x Chacos

This is the third summer in a row that outdoor retailer Huckberry has designed their own limited edition Chacos. This year they took the classic Chaco Z/1 sandal and added durable ChacoGrip soles and river camo straps. The last two limited-edition pairs have sold out fast, so don’t wait.

Parachute Washed Linen Curtains

L.A.-based home-essentials brand Parachute is launching curtains for the first time ever today. For their foray into window dressing the brand has started with two colors of soft washed 100 percent linen: chambray gray and crisp white. The curtains are lined with 100 percent cotton for an airy light-filtering effect. They are available in two lengths and can be hung on either curtain rods or rings both of which you can purchase on their site separately.

Atari Beat Legend: Avicii

Out today, Atari’s newest game for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices is also an interactive music platform inspired by the fantastical musical experiences of the late producer, performer, and songwriter Tim “Avicii” Bergling. In the game you can soar through vocal melodies and attack every beat as you fly through outer space to the tunes of Avicii’s biggest hits.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape.
