10 Things on Sale You’ll Actually Want to Buy: From Suicoke to Levi’s

No matter how you’re looking to ride out the rest of the summer, we found lots of Strategist favorites in today’s sweep through the internet’s sale bins — several of which, might we add, are rarely this cheap. There’s a six-pack of the crew socks that “go with absolutely everything,” some comfy, streetwearish sandals, and the Japanese kitchen knife beloved by chefs and editors alike.

These stylish German-made highlighters are easy to hold, never bleed, and are now just $1.50 a piece. (Author Jia Tolentino is a fan.)

There’s never been a better time to stock up on our favorite goes-with-everything Nike crew socks.

If you’re headed to the dorms this fall (or are just in need of an inexpensive bedding refresh), this textured cotton comforter set is still available in sizes Twin XL to King.

Today is the last day to take an extra 30 percent off select sale over at Levi’s, where we’ve spotted lots deep discounts on both summery shorts and fall-ready pants. We particularly like these high-rise shorts, which have a similar fit through the waist and hips as our favorite full-length Ribcage jeans. (Note: The deal will automatically apply at checkout.)

It’s not every day we find a pair of cotton chino shorts from Levi’s for under $25.

Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale is still in full swing, but there are lots of worthy finds in the retailer’s regular sale bins too. Among them is this under-eye concealer from IT Cosmetics, which one one makeup artist told us is a great buildable option for mature skin.

$120

Another sales-bin find: Here’s a pair of rarely-on-sale Suicoke sandals that are still in stock in men’s sizes 4 to 8 and women’s sizes 6 to 10.

$70

A truly excellent deal on a 6-inch chef’s knife from Global — the nearly undisputed favorite brand of 25 experts, including a Top Chef judge, a knife seller, and several professional chefs.

And finally, here’s a woven outdoor pillow that’s stylish enough to bring indoors once the weather gets cooler.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
