Lots of Strategist Favorites Are 20 Percent Off at Brooklinen’s Black Friday Sale

It’s no surprise that we love Brooklinen here at the Strategist. As far back as 2017, its linen sheets have converted staff skeptics into linen-sheet loyalists, and its just-as-nice cotton sheets have come recommended to us by celebrities and interior designers alike. We’ve since also given high praise to everything from its apparel to its duvet covers to its baby line (the sweetly named Brooklittles). So it should come as no surprise, then, that we’re excited about its Black Friday sale. From now until November 30, you can take 20 percent off pretty much everything on the site. That makes this the perfect time to splurge on anything you’ve been eyeing for a bit, whether that’s a dreamy set of sheets, a fluffy duvet, or a patterned shower curtain. To help you navigate the rather extensive sale, we gathered up all of our favorite pieces below, but don’t forget about our guide to shopping at Brooklinen, too. (And once you’re done, check out the rest of our early Black Friday sales roundups here.)

When former Strategist staffer Lauren Levy tested out the brand’s linen sheet set, she found that unlike most linen sheets she’d slept on, Brooklinen’s have “an immediately worn-in feel that only gets softer over time and with each wash.”

Brooklinen’s Classic Core sheets are also a longtime Strategist favorite. “It is really hard to beat the quality of these sheets for the price,” says one interior designer we spoke to. “They feel like butter, and still look and feel great after many times in the wash.”

For those on a budget, these are the most affordable Brooklinen sheets (even more so when they’re on sale). They’re 100 percent cotton and supposedly keep hot sleepers nice and cool.

Several interior designers have recommended the brand’s Classic Duvet Cover to us too, especially if you’re after that “quintessential all-white bedding look.”

Or if you’d prefer an all-linen bed, the linen duvet cover is made from the same “worn-in” linen as the sheet set above, and it’ll only get softer with each wash.

Deemed the ideal “summer to winter mid-weight blanket,” layer this quick-to-sell-out quilt over your duvet for extra warmth.

Brooklinen’s cotton shower curtain comes in four different prints, which range from neutral (thin, light-gray stripes) to more noticeable (an abstract peach pattern that’s vaguely reminiscent of the Momofuku logo). It comes with a recyclable liner and hooks, too.

Former Strategist writer Lori Keong upgraded her “cheapo” Kohl’s towels to these Brooklinen ones back in 2018. “They’re exactly what I would want if I didn’t already own them,” she writes, noting they’d make a nice gift. “They’re so soft and luxurious, and big enough to swaddle yourself in.”

This little quilt is made from chemical-free 100 percent cotton — and would make a thoughtful gift for the new mom on your holiday list.

Freelance writer and Strategist contributor Taylor Trudon told us she “lives” in these “supersoft” fleece joggers when working from home. They have an elasticized waist and three pockets, and are available in black, sage green, and the heather gray shown.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
