At first glance, the Always Pan looks like a sauté pan (which it functions as beautifully), but it’s deep enough for frying and braising. It has a stainless-steel basket insert for easy steaming, a pour spout, and a handle that acts as a spoon rest for the beechwood spatula that comes included — not to mention it’s attractive enough to bring straight from the stove to the table. For all those reasons, several former and current Strategist staffers own it, and Lani Halliday, the founder and owner of Brutus Bakeshop, tells us “the weight, the shape, the size, and the finish are all excellent.” She — and we — clearly think the Always Pan is a good investment anytime, but to take advantage of the markdown ($145 to $115) on the eight colors that haven’t sold out yet, you have until May 8. (And just FYI, the brand’s Auntie-approved Perfect Pot is also on sale.)
The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
