For this week’s Don’t DillyDally, we’ve surfaced a range of things we’re sure will sell out, including a nostalgic Vans collaboration, Fenty Skin’s inaugural lip oil, and CBD pre-rolls celebrating Pride.

$495

Homeware brand Hay, beloved by Strategist writers and celebs alike, teamed up with Swiss design company Dietiker for its Rey collection, originally created by Bruno Rey in 1971. The chairs, stools, and tables keep Rey’s iconic silhouette and are updated in new dimensions and colors picked by Hay, like this bright scarlet red.

Ghetto Gastro Sovereign Syrup

Adding to its lineup of pancake and waffle mixes, Ghetto Gastro debuted its first syrup today. The Sovereign Syrup combines three ingredients: maple syrup, apple cider syrup, and sorghum syrup, made from the sorghum grain found in the brand’s Ancestral Roots waffle-and-pancake mix. The natural sweetener can be used for drizzling atop pancakes or in cocktails, baked goods, and more.

Last year, statusy candle brand Boy Smells added Marble Fruit to its “genderful” fragrance line, which brings together both traditionally masculine and feminine scents. Now, the fruity and spicy scent is available in candle form as part of their Forbidden Fruits collection in celebration of Pride. Through the rest of June and July, 15 percent of the candle’s sales (and fragrances in the Genderful line) will go to the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network (GLSEN), the educational organization to end discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression in K-12 schools.

Fenty Skin Lip Oil

Also on the beauty front, yesterday Fenty Skin dropped its first-ever lip oil. It’s formulated with a cocktail of nourishing ingredients like cherry-seed oil, jojoba-seed oil, and rosehip oil. It also contains antioxidants by way of the vitamin C–packed Barbados Cherry, a nod to bad gal RiRi’s heritage.

Target recently tapped social-media personality and best-selling author Tabitha Brown for a series of limited-edition collections to be released throughout the next year. The first of the series features swimsuits, dresses, matching sets, accessories, and more in eye-catching colors and patterns. Some styles are already selling out, so if you see something you like, don’t dillydally.

This collection dropped right after publishing last week’s edition, but we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention it. Strategist favorite Baggu released a very cute collaboration with Hello Kitty and Friends, including bags, laptop sleeves, socks, and more. Lots of items sold out fast, but the company said that they’re working on restocks and there are some designs still available, like their puffy lunch box adorned with Keroppi.

Another nostalgia-inducing collab comes from Vans and Sailor Moon. The collection of shoes, socks, tees, hats, and more features different characters and designs inspired by the anime. We especially like this long-sleeved pullover made to resemble Sailor Moon’s infamous uniform.

MeUndies, maker of some of the softest underwear we’ve tried, partnered with creative content gallery Love Watts in a limited-edition line of comfortable basics. Featuring exclusive artwork from three emerging Black artists, the collection includes boxers, briefs, bralettes, underwear, and socks. You can buy something from the artist you like or a three-pack if you want variety.

CBD brand Dad Grass, known for making some of the most weedlike pre-rolls we’ve tried, recently released its Pride 2022 collection. Made in collaboration with California-based artist Humberto Cruz (a.k.a. @IScreamColour on Instagram), the capsule includes their pre-roll five-pack with playful packaging and a tee, bucket hat, and baseball cap with phrases like “Daddy” and “Daddy Chill.” In celebration of Pride, 100 percent of proceeds go to the nation’s largest statewide LGBTQ+ civil rights organization, Equality California.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
