10 Things on Sale You’ll Actually Want to Buy: From Fjällräven to Lelo

The state of sales is truly excellent this hump day with a ton of deep discounts on Strategist-favorite vibrators, backpacks, bodysuits, and more. (As always, if you want even more deals sent straight to your inbox, sign up for our email newsletter.)

We’ve long believed that Spanx makes the best seamless thong, but don’t just take it from us: Ballerina Erica Lall says it’s the only brand she can wear to avoid a visible panty line under her costume. “A lot of seamless underwear isn’t actually seamless, but this is,” she says, going so far as to also call Spanx’s thongs the softest she’s ever put on.

Speaking of Spanx, its faux-leather leggings were recommended to us by three cool women, including a stylist, a fashion writer, and designer Bronte Laurent, who says they’re “easy to slide into … This is rare since I find faux leather extremely hard to actually get into.”

This attractive pack from Fjällräven, whose backpacks have been recommended to us for everything from world travel to carrying laptops to work to hauling textbooks around college campuses, is also on sale today. (Our staff writer Lauren Ro called her Kanken the best thing she’d bought in a decade.) This one, from its Tree-Kanken initiative, is made from particularly sustainable materials. It’s also available in a green-gray color for $81.

Backpacks aren’t the only excellent items on sale at Huckberry today. There’s also this knobbly throw blanket for park and beach days …

… and this seasonally appropriate camp shirt from Alex Mill, which landed a coveted spot in our guide to the best (cool-people-approved) short-sleeve button-down shirts.

For a pair of Baggies-like shorts (without the logo), this pair is still available in most sizes. It’s worth noting that we’ve heard about the quality and comfort of Topo Designs’ clothes from Strategist editorspodcast hostscollege studentsoutdoorsy people, and more.

This bodysuit (from size-inclusive Strategist favorite Universal Standard) is the same one writer Francine Maroukian told us she wears every single day of winter “to barre class and work and happy hour.” It’s also on sale in nutmeg and black-sand colorways.

For warmer days, its next-to-naked bike shorts are also discounted.

And while we’ve always known its linen dresses to sell out especially quickly, they’re currently available (with a considerable discount) in multiple colors in sizes 2XS through 3XL.

Finally, we were delighted to find one of our favorite luxury vibrators hidden among the goods on the final day of Urban Outfitter’s 40 percent off sale. Our testers found that the Sona consistently led to intense orgasms, partly because of its vast menu of vibration levels and patterns and because its curved shape makes it easy to keep your thumb on the buttons and change the sensations as you go.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
