Everlane has been one of our favorite brands for affordable basics for years. We’ve recommended its high-waisted jeans, affordable button-downs, and perfectly fitted tees time and time again — and though the quality has stayed consistent over that time, the price has slowly crept up (like just about everything else these days). So we were delighted to stumble upon Everlane’s Priced Like It’s 2019 sale — with discounts up to 40 percent on dozens of basics — and even more delighted to find one of our favorite white T-shirts for women back to a sub-$20 price. Made of lightweight Supima cotton, this V-neck tee drapes nicely with a hem that hits right at the hip. That gives it a not-cropped but not-too-long silhouette, according to Elizabeth Rose, who initially turned us onto this tee. And though the V is relatively deep, Rose says it’s balanced with softer, slightly curved lines that make it more forgiving. The white is classic, but it’s also available in seven other colors, so now’s the time to stock up because the way things are going, we’re not sure when we’ll find this wardrobe staple this cheap again.
