Happy Wednesday! As the Strategist’s deals editor, I’m here to entice you with some excellent sales to cure your midweek, midwinter slump. REI is slashing prices on a ton of great outdoor gear, Strategist-approved bag brand Dagne Dover is having a “Bye Winter” sale, and Urban Outfitters is still offering 50 percent off hundreds of products.

We’ve been singing the praises of this stainless-steel thermos from Zojirushi since 2016 and recently named it our top travel mug for commuting. In addition to being lightweight and having fantastic temperature control, it’s completely airtight and has “the most bustproof cap in the biz,” according to cookbook author and recipe developer Carla Lalli Music.

Miele is a great option for vacuuming without recirculating dust. (My mom has had one for over 15 years, and it’s still as hardworking as ever.) For my apartment, in 2020, I purchased this model, which has six suction settings that work on a variety of surfaces and fits under my fridge with ease.

The newer version of a Bose speaker recommended by actress-singer Dove Cameron is $100 off today. “I’m a big fan of bass, which is why this Bose speaker is one of my favorites. It’s really small and really portable, but the bass is superintense,” she said.

Full-price items at J.Crew are 25 percent off through February 28 with the code GOSHOP. Now is the perfect time to pick up some spring jeans, like this ’90s-inspired pair that is available in three washes.

Grab these ultrasoft joggers while you’re at it since already-on-sale pieces are up to 75 percent off with the same code.

Dagne Dover — the bag brand behind some of our favorite fanny packs and work bags — is having a “Bye Winter” sale on several seasonal colors. I’m intrigued by these upright toiletry organizers that come in two sizes and have six adjustable compartments to keep makeup separate from skin-care items.

REI just added a lot of winter gear to its outlet section. Strategist editor Maxine Builder became a Patagonia fleece convert after purchasing the long-sleeved version of this cuddly vest back in 2009, saying this is “the only fleece that matters.”

Hundreds of home décor, apparel, and beauty products are half off at Urban Outfitters. I could definitely see this affordable bookshelf (which is available in four colors) moonlighting as a robust bar cart or record-playing station.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
