An Austrian tattoo artist was thrown in jail when he tattooed a penis and the F-word onto the back of an unsuspecting 21-year-old woman. She was there to get your other freshman-year tattoo idea: a yin-yang sign. According to Austria’s the Local, the woman described what she wanted, and the artist designed a template for the desired tattoo and showed it to her before she went under the needle.
But when she went home to remove the bandage to look at her new tattoo in the mirror, she discovered he’d — ahem — deviated from her request and alerted the authorities. When asked why he’d subjected this woman to walking around with a penis on her back for the rest of her life, the 21-year-old artist replied, “Just because.”
He was sentenced to three and a half years in jail and will reportedly be held in an institution for “mentally abnormal offenders.” Maybe his victim can form a support group with the guy with the Instagram tattoo and Ben Affleck.
