Glitter has to be one of the top-three most divisive choices in fashion. Either you like it or you loathe it; either you want to shine bright like a diamond or you’ll pass, thanks.
For diamond types, Asos has teamed up with running-shoe brand Saucony to lend some sparkle to the latter’s retro-inspired style, the Shadow 5000. Dropping today, the sneaker collaboration will be available in two colorways: a ruby-red reminiscent of The Wizard of Oz and a more demure navy shade.
While these could absolutely take the brunt of daily jogging, the shoe’s ’90s-throwback aesthetic will look even better if you stick to the basic uniform: a classic white tee and a pair of flattering high-waisted jeans.
