On International Women’s Day, Brie Larson took to Twitter to ask people to share stories of how they grew as a woman, or about women who helped them grow. The responses to her simple request were poignant, with male and female Twitter users sharing tales of their mothers and mentors, as well as their own journey of self-discovery, figuring out what feminism means to them, and learning to stand up for themselves.
