Cosmetics vet Akai was one of the first eyelash-extension artists in New York. A full set ranges from $300 to $500 and takes up to two and a half hours.

Ramy, who has his own makeup line, goes for an eye-opening arch while leaving the brow as full as possible. He uses a tweezers-only approach, taking into account each client’s bone structure, eyes, age, and hair type to create the most flattering shape (from $85).
