KPop Demon Hunterswill undoubtedly be one of the mostpopular Halloween costumes of 2025. Not only is it Netflix’s No. 1 most-viewed movie of all time, with a catchy soundtrack full ofBillboardhits, it’s rife with memorable, visually striking characters, from Huntr/x and the Saja Boys to Derpy Tiger and Sussie Magpie. Alas,official merchandise and clothingfrom the movie has beenslow to launch, and a lot of it has a long lead time, so fans and desperate parents are trawling Etsy for handmade costumes that will arrive by October 31 (pro tip: Use the “ships from the U.S. filter”) or buying craft supplies to DIY their own.
If you or your kids are dreaming of a “Golden” night of trick-or-treating — or will be seeing the movie on the big screen when itreturns to theaters for Halloween weekend— we’ve rounded up every actually decent-looking purple braid, demon robe, patterns temporary tattoo, and fan T-shirt we can find online. Predictably, the more you’re willing to spend, and the more DIY effort you’re willing to put in, the better your costume will be. But rest assured there are some solid options below, even if you don’t have the time, skill, or desire to bust out a glue gun or sewing machine.
Huntr/x’s world-tour performance outfits
At the start of the movie, Huntr/x singers and secret demon hunters Rumi, Mira, and Zoey perform the final concert of an epic world tour. Officially licensed versions of Rumi, Mira, and Zoey’s looks from that show have been cycling in and out of stock atSpirit Halloween, for both kids and adults. But if you can’t find one near you, there are still some options available to buy online.
Rumi
Though it might look intimidating,making your own Rumi braidout of purple hair extensions and lots ofclear hair elasticsisn’t that hard and is much less expensive than buying a premade wig. Or, if you have long hair,color it purple with temporary hair color, then follow one of the many “dragon braid” tutorials online. As for Rumi’s concert outfit, the full look is available to buy from plenty of sellers on Amazon, though the quality is more hit-or-miss. If you are willing to go the DIY route, start with a pair of purple shorts, a white cropped tank, and ayellow bomber jacket.

Zoey
Zoey’s hairstyle is easy to pull off if you already have bangs and hair long enough to put in buns. Otherwise, you can get a wig like the ones below. In addition to her concert outfit, I suggest adding a trompe l’oeil Ramyeon glass as an accessory.
Mira
For Mira’s look, I’d add a pair of sparkly fingerless gloves to the pink wig and yellow-skirted outfit.
Huntr/x’s lounge outfits
After the tour ends, Rumi, Mira, and Zoey retreat to indulge in piles of snacks and cozy bathrobes — a much lower-effort and more comfortable costume.
The Saja Boys’ “Soda Pop” outfits
When we first see the Saja Boys, they emerge from a puff of pink smoke singing their hit single, “Soda Pop.” A crowd forms, passersby swoon, and we get a glimpse of each of the five bandmates and their dreamy hair/abs/eyes. This costume works best as a whole group, but you could also go as just one of the boys. For all but one of them, pastel-colored hair is the best place to start. Then, you’ll need some skinny jeans, temporary tattoos of their demon patterns, and a Hawaiian shirt, argyle sweater, plaid shirt, or purple vest, depending on your Saja Boy of choice.

The Saja Boys’ demon outfits
When the Saja Boys revert to their demon selves, they’re dressed in all-black robes, combat boots, and traditional Koreangat hats. There are many fully realized demon costumes out there, but many of them won’t arrive in time for Halloween, and I think it’s more fun to make your own. Once you have the boots and the robe — even ablack graduation gownwill work! — all you need is a hat and some other accessories, like temporary tattoos and silver jewelry. You can make a decent hat out of black poster board and a glue gun, or buy aclassic witch hatand fold the pointy top inward to flatten it out. Then add demon details to the robe’s cuffs and hem with silver puffy paint.
