The Best Fashion and Jewelry Advent Calendars (So Far)
There are plenty of beauty, toy, and food-and-drink Advent calendars — but my favorites are the fashion and jewelry ones. I’m always surprised by the kinds of things you can find in them, like stud-earring sets and customizable charm bracelets that you assemble day by day. I’ve rounded up all of my top picks so far — including one with limited-edition underwear and one that’s full of festive hair accessories — most of which are currently available (and I’ve indicated any that are still on preorder). As my colleagues on the Advent calendar beat have already reported, many of these calendars are bound to sell out quickly, so shopping early is key. I’ll update this post with more fashion and jewelry Advent calendars as they’re released over the next month — so be sure to check back for new additions.

I own tons of Kitsch’s bobby pins and creaseless clips, which are the kinds of things you’ll find in its Advent calendar. It includes 12 days of full-size items, like the Cloud claw clip, pistachio-scented hair perfume, and dermaplane oil, plus hair-care treatments like a protein-infused shampoo and conditioner.

Meri Meri — a brand known for its whimsical children’s decorations and keepsakes — collaborated with Ladurée to make this charm bracelet Advent calendar. The pretty pastel calendar, which doubles as a jewelry box, contains 24 enamel charms and cotton tassels, which can be added to the chain bracelet day by day (or all at once).

This one has 12 days’ worth of Pink’s Wink Cheeky Panties featuring festive prints and lace trim. As the name suggests, they offer “cheeky” moderate coverage, compared to a full-coverage hipster.

It’s basically a sock-drawer refresh in a box. I spotted seasonal prints, including candy canes and mistletoe, along with patterns for practically any time of year, including stripes, extra-bright solids, hearts, and polka dots.

British jewelry brand Astrid & Miyu has both 12-day and 24-day Advent calendars that let you select between gold and silver finishes (technically gold-plated sterling silver and brass, or rhodium-plated sterling silver and brass). You’ll find cubic zirconia studs, ear cuffs, pendent bracelets, and charms. And as an extra perk, both calendars include a $70 gift card to spend online or in store.
