Ulta has been rolling out some impressivelimited-time salesof late. Today, I spotted one of our favoritered lipsticks, M.A.C’sRetro Matte Liquid Lipcolourin the Dance With Me shade, on sale for 30 percent off. It earned contributorMbiye Kasonga’stop-red-lipstick spotafter a yearslong search because, as she says, it’sthe perfect red, it suits myriad skin tones, and it has staying power — even without lip liner. “The cranberry undertones were a deep enough red to ensure it actually looked like a true red against my skin,” she says. “It held a mythological well of confidence — I started putting it on before big work presentations to make me feel powerful.
