Few things bring me as much joy as receiving theNordstrom Anniversary Salecatalogue in the mail. Mainly because the discounts — which are almost always on brands I shop anyway, like the North Face, FP Movement, Vuori, and more — are often quite good. This year, I couldn’t help but notice a considerable amount of excellent deals on activewear. As our resident fitness correspondent andwardrobe-basicsexpert, I took it upon myself to put together a list of the items that are actually worth it. Below, you’ll find a swingy exercise dress, breathable running shorts, and a few outerwear pieces for wearing to and from the gym or Pilates class. As a reminder: The sale ends on Sunday, August 9, so I wouldn’t wait too long to shop these deals as many items will likely sell out.

I made sure all our picks are still in stock and priced correctly and removed any sold-out items.
