My body needs hydration, as everyone’s does. Drugstore is my go-to. I think this Olay bodywash has magic in it. It does a great job of cleansing the skin without drying it out. It’s formulated with niacinamide, BHA, collagen peptide, vitamin E, and shea butter to cleanse and hydrate. The scent matters as well; I love a pleasant scent. It’s fresh yet warm.

For me, lotions and bodywashes are a wardrobe. It’s about having options depending on the scent and specific feel I’m looking for. This is in my regular rotation. It delivers. I like lotions to absorb quickly, and this one does yet it keeps my skin hydrated. It’s rich in prebiotic oat and glycerin. It’s lightweight. I wear it in all seasons. When I think seasonally, if I’m wearing short sleeves or shorts in the summertime, I don’t want any residue left on my skin. I want it to be fully absorbed. In the winter months, when I’m clothed, I don’t mind a little bit of that soaping effect as it’s blending into the skin. But in the summer, if I’m in short sleeves, I want it to blend quickly.

Olay has the fast-absorbing piece down to a science — and again, year-round, definitely in the summer months. There’s no soapiness. As soon as I apply it, it instantly absorbs into the skin.

I tried the Dove deodorant that’s not an anti-perspirant for a couple of seasons. It didn’t make my list this time because year-round I want the protection from perspiration. So I’m back to the anti-perspirant. I love the scent of Dove Men. It’s masculine without being too stereotypical. It’s more modern.

Scent is an important factor here. The Olay bodywash, there’s a warmth to it; this one’s more crisp and fresh. But I love the scent so much, even in the winter months. It has that citrusy freshness. And I love the experience in the shower with it. It’s great.

It’s a combination of scent and the way this gel transforms into a foam that gives enough cushion for me to get a close yet gentle shave. The scent is very comforting. When you’re shaving, there’s always that risk of getting a nick or a cut. The cushion and the comfort are going to prevent that, and this product does.

I was looking for a lightweight, fast-absorbing face sunscreen and Black Girl Sunscreen fit the bill. It’s a great balance of hydrating without looking and feeling oily and greasy, which can be a difficult feat for a chemical-based sunscreen. I also love that it’s rich in aloe, which is great for soothing and calming the skin.

I love the ease, the convenience of just being able to spray this and then rub it in to apply. There’s nothing left on the hands. It blends in quickly and I’m on the go.

I feel like I’m really taking good care of my teeth with this product. My teeth feel clean and healthy without being stripped.

A lot of mouthwashes contain alcohol. This one’s alcohol free. My dentist recommends using the alcohol-free version because it’s gentler on the gums. It does well with keeping breath fresh and odor free.
