I’ve been testingsmartwatchesfor over five years, and in every round of testing, the Apple Watch has always come out on top. It’s comfortable, easy to use, and packed with health-tracking capabilities that make it great for anything from running to just keeping an eye on the quality of yoursleep.That’s all still true with the latest model, theSeries 11, which is down to its lowest price ever right now duringPrime Day.
I typically recommend the Apple Watch SE 3 over the Series 11, as it offers nearly all the same core features at a much lower price. With this discount, though, it’s worth spending a little extra to get the Series 11. Like the SE 3, it has a bright always-on display and accurate health monitoring for things like counting your steps or tracking the progress of yourmarathon training. It also offers EKG and blood-oxygen monitoring, as well as notifications for hypertension, all of which the SE 3 lacks.
Most importantly, though, the Series 11 has a notably longer battery life than the cheaper SE 3. While that model requires a recharge every night before bed, I’ve been able to get through about a day and a half on the Series 11 without any trouble. Even if you don’t plan on using battery-heavy features like workout tracking, the extra juice will come in handy on long days out or extended trips. That’s well worth the extra cash, especially while the watch is 30 percent off.
