Black Fridayis still a couple days away, but the deal frenzy has already begun. We’re seeing deals all over the place, though admittedly, beauty is having a quieter start. The category tends to stick a bit closer to the official Black Friday–Cyber Monday calendar — Sephora’s Cyber Week started November 24, for example — but with that said, there are some worthwhile deals to be had. I’ve noticed a few sitewide sales — Benefit’s entire site is 30 percent off, and Nette is 30 percent off. Some of the big retailers, like Nordstrom, are teasing early Black Friday deals, adding a few new products daily. It’s a good time to get ahead on your list, especially if you like to beat the rush. I’ll be updating this story with new deals as I see them, so watch this space.
Amazon has kicked off Black Friday weekwith deals on a wide range of brands — from Dyson to Medicube to CosRx. In some cases, like GHD, the retailer is matching the existing sitewide discounts. I’m also seeing a few things that are cheaper than they were on Prime Day — the Medicube Pore Pads, for example, are the cheapest they’ve been all year.

Black Friday is when Ceremonia hosts its biggest sale of the year. The deal gets better as you shop more. You’ll get 20 percent off when you buy two items, 25 percent off when you purchase three to four items, and 30 percent off when you purchase five items or more. The brand makes Strategist writer Ambar Pardilla’s favorite heat-protectant spray, which also protects hair from UV damage.

Dieux’s thoughtfully designed skin-care products are part of many a Strategist staffer’s skin-care routine, including the Strategist’s editor, Lauren Levy, who has gone through many tubes of Instant Angel. Ilia is offering 20 percent off the entire site and 25 percent off for VIPs, a program that’s free to join with an email. VIPs also get a free complexion stick with every order. The brand is perhaps best known for itsmulti-sticks, which contain moisturizing ingredients like shea butter and avocado oil and can be used on cheeks, eyes, and lips. Writer Katie Stone is a fan; she describes using it as an “extension of her skin-care routine with a little color.”
Macy’s is doing rotating Black Friday deals, with new ones dropping every Friday. This week, there are discounts to be had on Pat McGrath eye-shadow palettes, Dyson hair dryers, and Shiseido SPF.
This is our favorite place to snag nice-smelling, but affordable fragrances and candles. I’ve been using No. 04 everyday recently, and have been fielding compliments wherever I go.
Nette is hosting its annual sale, which coincides with Black Friday. The entire site is 25 percent off when you use the code THENETTESALE. That includes one of my favorite fragrances, Thé Vanille, which smells of vanilla, matcha, and pink pepper.
