Black Fridayis technically tomorrow, but plenty of sales are already live. As I mention in my guide onhow to shop Black Friday and Cyber Monday, these early(ish) deals are probably not going to change between now and the official start of Cyber Weekend. At most, a retailer might throw in a gift with purchase or free shipping, so if you want to get your holiday shopping list crossed off before Thanksgiving, you’re safe to shop now.
As I do for every big shopping holiday, I’ve whipped up a very extensive list — organized first by category, then alphabetically by brand name — so you can peruse all the deals that are worth a look. If you’re not sure where to begin, I’d start with the heavy hitters likeAmazonandNordstrom, where you’ll find deep discounts on tech, clothes, and toys. Buttonsof other Strategist-loved retailers have good deals, too, fromAnthropologie,Madewell, andEverlanetoDermstore,Sephora, andSoko Glam. You can buy items from designer brands on Amazon’s luxury site. Right now, lots of secondhand items are 20 percent off at checkout for Black Friday. (Since they’re preloved, note that there is only one of each item below.)
Anthropologie’s sale section is an extra 40 percent off for a limited time. There’s lots of cute fashion up to 70 percent off, and thehome sectionis worth checking out as well.
Strategist staffers have been wearing and recommending Blundstonesfor years — they’re deservedly popular. Senior writer Lauren Ro calls them “the most comfortable shoes I own.” Now, you can get 15 percent off sitewide.
