It’sBlack Fridayweek, and lots ofBlack Friday salesare in full swing, especially from mattress brands. To help cut through the noise, I’ve rounded up the best early Black Friday deals I’ve found onour favorite mattresses— the ones that Strategist staffers have actually slept on and vetted for comfort and support. I’ve organized them by mattress type below, with links to our full reviews so you can learn more about each one. I’ve also included a few other good mattress deals I’ve spotted so far, and I’ll be keeping this story updated through Black Friday, so check back in if the bed you’re eyeing isn’t already here.
Deals I personally think are the best
All of Leesa’s mattresses are 30 percent off on Leesa’s websiteandat West Elm, but the list price for the Leesa Original is lower at West Elm, bringing the sale price down by another $20. And newly discounted as of today is Parachute’s Eco innerspring mattress, which only goes on sale a few times per year; if you’ve been thinking about it, now’s the time to buy. Finally, Stearns & Foster’s high-end Lux Estate collection is almost 20 percent off — a bit more than the brand usually offers.

Saatva Classic Mattress - Queen
The Saatva Classic is our pick for thebest mattress overall— Irecommend itto just about everyone. It’s an innerspring mattress that comes in three firmnesses, and, while pricey, the quality is superb, so I think it’s a great bang for your buck. This ultraluxe mattress, currently $675 off, is a great choice for multiple sleeping positionsandfor staying cool. Senior editor Crystal Martin especially appreciates the slight “suspended” feeling she gets from the Purple GelFlex grid in the top layer of the mattress. Our favorite firm foam mattress, the Plank, is 30 percent off for Black Friday. The Plank is double-sided, so you can flip it and feel a different firmness on each side. Senior editor Simone Kitchens loved sleeping on the extra-firm side, which she says felt like lying on the floor for Savasana at the end of a yoga class (complimentary).

This Tempur-Pedic mattress is not only one of the most comfortable mattresses I’ve ever slept on, but one of the most effectivecoolingmattresses I’ve ever slept on. Tempur-Pedic’s sales usually aren’t as big as the ones at other mattress brands, so even though this discount is small, it’s still decent.

Saatva Zenhaven Latex Mattress - Queen
Saatva’s Zenhaven latex, our top pick for an all-latex mattress, is discounted by up to $525 for Black Friday, depending on which size you buy. Kitchens has been sleeping on it for several months now and describes it as “truly a big flat slab of firm latex that provides incredible support while still feeling kind to my joints and good for side sleeping.”

I’m testing this mattress right now, so my official review is forthcoming, but I’m already impressed by how high-quality it feels. It’s on the firmer side, but the latex isn’t overly stiff, so it’s still comfortable.
