What Kelly Rowland Can’t Live Without

So I get foot cramps. I’ve danced in heels since I was 11, 12 years old. And I have a bit of a bunion on my feet, both of them. These take your toes and spread them out to allow more blood to flow. And they make it so that the second toe doesn’t go behind the other toe, you know what I mean? And it feels so good. It’s my favorite thing. I’ll wear them on flights or if I’m somewhere just chilling, but I travel with them. It’s something that I cannot leave home without.

A friend of mine told me to try this. We always have conversations about beauty products and stuff like that. I feel like it gives me a bit of a shine, you know what I mean? Maybe a week after I started using it every other day, I had just finished washing my face and I had this natural, like, glow, and I was like, “Oh, I’m popping.” I felt like it was really doing something. It’s fantastic.

I mean, who doesn’t like Aquaphor? It’s like a necessity in your bag. It’s good for everything, for the cuticles, for your lips, for my kids who are 11 and 5. Whatever is in my bag has to actually cooperate with my kids too.
The 11-year-old definitely fights me back a little bit because he’s like, “Mom, I moisturize.” And I’m like, “I can tell you didn’t by the little dry lips you got, bro. So let’s moisturize it on up.”

These are an everyday thing in my world. My facialist, Shani Darden, told me, “You know, you gotta take care of the skin underneath your eyes.” And now I do, between her eye cream and these patches. I put a pair of them on every morning, right after I wash my face, and then I walk out of the house with them on. I use three different kinds. There’s one in a black shell, there’s one in a rose-gold shell, and there’s one in a icy-kinda-blue shell. The black one feels like it just blurs everything. The rose gold gives you a bit of a dewy look. And the blue is cooling. That one’s great.

This was a gift from my brother and it kind of goes through the filtration system of the house. It was the most amazing gift because everybody that comes over to our house actually comes with their water jugs ready to fill. You can choose cold, ambient, or hot water, which is extremely hot. You just make tea right there. And there’s even a sparkling option on there as well. I drink a lot of water, and I just love how clean it tastes.

I found this online. They’re peppermint drops for sinuses that open up your nasal cavity and your voice — it feels really good on your voice. But I like it just as a mint. I actually had someone I love this morning try it and she was like, “Kelly!” Her whole face split open. I’m completely obsessed with them because they wake you up, clear your sinuses, and give you incredible breath. It doesn’t matter. Like, you can be this close to somebody and you’re gonna be p pping.

I didn’t know how important vitamins were until I got to my 40s. And now that I am taking these I feel better, sleep better, and my day feels like I’m getting everything that I need. So I’m noticing a great difference. I’m less foggy. Everything feels like it’s kind of flowing right in my body. The best thing I could have done was, like, start vitamins for myself, for sure. I didn’t know that I needed a multivitamin like that. You know, when people tell you that, you’re like, “Sure.” They’re like, “Take your vitamins. It’s really important.” In my 20s, I ignored it. In my 30s, I kind of … I started it, then I was like, “It doesn’t do nothing.” In my 40s, I can feel it. I wish I would’ve been taking vitamins all this time.

Before this partnership with Lysol ever happened, I had them in every purse that I have. I still keep them in all of my kids’ things because I love my kids, but they are gross. Their shoes are gross; their backpacks are gross. I drop Titan off at school, and I watch him just toss that backpack to the ground and he comes home and he throws that thing right on my kitchen island and I’m like, “Get that backpack off of there.” You know what I mean? We always have the wipes on standby. I always travel with them because they help reduce the spread of all these illness-causing germs on surfaces. I swear by them.
