Even My Father Noticed My Skin Was Clearer After Using the Shark CryoGlow

Back in December,after testing the Shark CryoGlow LED mask for a month, I published my review.My results with it were good, but perhaps notgreat. As I wrote then, because I’ve consistently used a red-light mask for many years, I didn’t notice any major before-and-after results from the Shark that someone usingred lightfor the first time would. I did think that my skin remained even and happy while testing it, and I had noticed that I didn’t have any active acne breakouts during the testing period. But I wasn’t totally sure that was thanks to the mask itself or some combination of the mask plus my products plus having a relatively stress-free, hormonally balanced month. Sometimes, with acne, you just get lucky.
But I was interested to see how the blue light would work over time since my usual CurrentBody mask isred-light-only, and I dedicated myself to strapping on the Shark for a few sessions every week. The Skin Clearing preset routine lasts just eight minutes as it cycles through blue, red, and infrared light. I would usually power on the under-eye cooling pads, too, for bonus de-puffing. The remote is super-intuitive, counting down the time remaining in each treatment and logging them to keep me honest.

My good-skin luck kept rolling straight through the holidays, then on through January and February. Where I’d usually have my baseline congestion, there was nothing but smooth skin. And my bimonthly angry breakouts around my temples and chin never came. My skin was very, very clear. So clear, in fact, that even my father noticed over Super Bowl weekend. “Your skin looks really good. You don’t have your usual, you know,” he said, gesturing vaguely at the side of my face where my zits usually are. My father has been a witness to my acne ups and downs since I hit puberty 15 years ago, but he didn’t typically say anything unless things were dire. “It hasn’t looked this good in a while. Keep doing whatever you’re doing,” he added.
This was perhaps the single strongest indicator I’ve ever seen in a beauty product’s favor.The Shark must be working,I thought,if my dad could tell the difference.So consider this my newly revised review: If you’re dealing with acne, the CryoGlow is the mask for you.
