I can’t talk about the drugstore without talking about my Aquaphor hack that got 61 million views on TikTok. I did this trick while working with Jennifer Lopez on set ofKiss of the Spider Woman. We were doing heavy makeup that had to last for 14 hours a day. I couldn’t keep redoing it, so I had to figure out how to keep the under-eye area from crumbling. I used the Aquaphor stick under the eyes, then added concealer, foundation, and powder. It stayed smooth for 14 hours. I actually got the idea from Marilyn Monroe. She used Vaseline under foundation for glow. I thought,If it didn’t make her crack, maybe this will work. And it did.

NYX Color Correctors are excellent. You have to work with it a little. Apply it, let it sit — let it marinate — for a second before you cover it with makeup. If you don’t, it slides around. But if you give it a second, it really performs.

It’s just a great, reliable mascara. I use a few different mascaras depending on what I need, but this one is always in the mix.

This is something I use constantly — for hair, face, in between layers of makeup. I travel with it. It revives everything. You know when you feel like a wilted piece of lettuce? It brings you back to life. It can even refresh your makeup after it’s been sitting for a while.

I love the Neutrogena makeup remover — the one that separates. It melts everything. I don’t even know what’s in it, but it works every time.

NYX is killing it with their lip oils. I think they’re beautiful. They work well and they’re great for adults, too, not just 15-year-olds.

The prongs on the tip let you draw brushstroke hairs on the brows, which I love. And a great hack for men that I do: You can use it to fill in bald spots in your beard. It’s waterproof, so it doesn’t smear all over your face.

With hair care, I always go with L’Oréal. I’ll buy it when I travel, because I’m not packing shampoo. It smells and feels just like Kérastase. It’s the same company.

I use it on blemishes — the ones that are red and screaming. The magnesium literally shuts down the redness and creates a barrier, so you can put foundation over it. I also use it under makeup when doing stage makeup. It controls oil and sweat. It’s an old drag-queen trick I learned years ago.
