If You’re Planning on Buying an Advent Calendar This Year, Get It On Sale During Prime Day
October Prime Day is here, and we’re updating this story hourly. To find the best deals in every category, follow all of our October Prime Day coverage.
This year’s Advent calendars have arrived — and there are a lot more of them than usual. You can find one for just about anything, from candy or tea to LEGOs or Hot Wheels to hair accessories or lip gloss. And an assortment of these festive calendars are currently discounted for October Prime Day, which is especially exciting since they have a tendency to sell out well before December, even at full price.
I usually stick to our senior deals editor Sam Daly’s rule of thumb that a good sale is at least 20 percent off, but given the rarity of discounted Advent calendars, I’ve included a handful offering a slightly smaller discount that still feel worthwhile. And if you’re in the market for other stuff, like a new vacuum or fancy blow-dryer, we’ve compiled the best deals in our Prime Day hub.
