True deal hunters know something’s not really on sale unless it’s 50 percent off or more. Those rare deals are easier to find on Black Friday — we’re scouring sales on everything from speakers to red-light therapy masks and finding a lot of steep discounts. For those more motivated by discount tier than category, I’ve rounded up everything we’ve written about that’s on sale for half off or more. Deals I personally think are the best
You rarely see skin care on sale for more than 20 percent off, so half-off First Aid Beauty’s repair cream is a steal. (It’s also great for cold, dry weather.) You can’t skip more-than-half-off Lululemon leggings with pockets, and I am very intrigued by one seller’s stock of discounted Hay Mags sofas in weird but workable colorways.
Women’s apparel
Some of the best deals are on women’s fashion: Pretty much everything is 50 percent off at Old Navy and Gap, and you can take an extra 40 percent off sale price at Anthropologie with an email sign-up. Also, Strategist writer Kat Gillespie found a pair of $64 lab-grown diamonds at Walmart.
