Dior’s Nail Glowpolish is one of those cult-y beauty items that seem to withstand the test of time. But its hefty price point — $32 per 0.3-ounce bottle — and recent reformulation have left some loyal users on the hunt for a replacement. Beauty columnistRio Viera-Newtonthinks she’s found it inButter London’s Jelly Preserve Strengthening Treatment. One swipe leaves a sheer, jammy pink that makes your nails look strong, bright, and healthy. Viera-Newton concedes that the color is “a slightly deeper orchid to Dior Nail Glow, which is more of a lavender rose,” but she actually prefers it. “I think it does a better job of concealing damage or yellowness on the nails.”
Butter London’s Jelly Preserve is already half the price of Nail Glow, at $18 for a 0.4-ounce bottle, but right now, it’s even further discounted to 25 percent off — a deal I haven’t seen for a few months. It would make a nicelast-minute Mother’s Day gift, for those still on the hunt.
