Well, the king of decoupage has done it again. There’s a newJohn Derian for Targetcollection coming this weekend, the latest of many he’s done with the retailer since 2008. This one in particular reminds me ofDerian’s East Second Street storeat Christmastime. There are cherry-pie blow molds and onion-bulb candles (last yearit was beaded squash pillows and Bordallo Pinheiro–ish artichoke dishes), plus a return of the mushroom lamps along with many other Derian trademarks: animals from nursery rhymes (grouse, owl, dove, squirrel) and vintage Christmas-card–like prints. Some motifs even referenceJohn Derian for Target Halloween decorations, with a Santa-hat-wearing skeleton and a black-cat ornament. Prices range from $8 to $75, and everything’s available starting at 3 a.m. EST on October 19.You know what to do. Here’s what I’d get:
