* Strat writer Erin Schwartz was looking for flat-weave rugs on Etsy when they noticed a curious niche: “There are tons of dupes of rugs by mid-century female Scandinavian textile artists on there. Many are tagged Marianne Richter, which has become a weird erroneous catchall — this ‘Richter-inspired’ rug is actually a Ingegerd Silow dupe, and this one is based on a rug by Barbro Nilsson.”
