Based on the cycles of the moon rather than the sun, Lunar New Year —which is typically celebrated in Asian countries including China, Vietnam, and South Korea — falls on January 29 this year (though festivities can last for several weeks, with lion dances, feasts, fireworks, and more). According to the Chinese zodiac calendar, 2025 is the Year of the Snake; I’ve already spotted plenty of brands drawing scaly inspiration from the mysterious and oft-misunderstood creature, which symbolizes wisdom, renewal, and transformation. I’ve rounded up all the new serpent-themed launches below, as well as some general décor and accessories to help usher in the celebrations — but definitelydon’t dillydally, as many of these releases are limited edition and are likely to slither away soon.
