I am old enough to remember flipping through the now iconic pages of theDelia’s cataloguein my childhood bedroom. I don’t think I ever bought anything, but I did use the pictures as inspiration for school outfits, makeup, and ways to wear my hair. Now, withnew owners eyeing a rebirthfor the beloved ’90s teen brand after much nostalgic adoration on Instagram and TikTok, Delia’s has launched a new collection with Target. The collaboration, which followsa similar partnership with Dolls Kill, is reintroducing the brand to a new generation of teens and tweens. It’s also an opportunity for ’90s kids to revisit some of the styles they coveted the first time around. The collection is a modern take on Delia’s classics and features lime-green, chocolate-brown, and blue baby tees; plaid and floral mesh skirts; cargo pants; striped sets; and, of course, an assortment of chokers. Here’s everything I would buy for myself, and everything I’d buy with a friend’s tween or teen in mind.

Skinny skater stripes are super-popular right now and great for pattern mixing and lending some edge to an otherwise boring outfit. The fact that this cardigan is ribbed makes it even more fun. I also appreciate thematching pantsbut probably wouldn’t wear the two pieces together. Instead, I’d pair an oversize T-shirt with the pants, like the pink one below.

While it definitely skews younger than me, I think I could pull off this tee by adding dressier, more grown-up accessories like ballet flats and aleather work bag.

This is one of my favorite pieces from the collection because it’s clearly a nod to Delia’s without literal Delia’s branding on it. It also reminds me of theMarimekko hoodiesthat similarly feature one big flower bloom.

These plaid pants are already starting to sell out, with good reason. The color combination is classic ’90s, and the cut could work for many body types.

Of all the pieces in the collection adorned with a Delia’s logo, this baby-blue shirt is my favorite for the multicolored embroidery and the lettuce edge on the sleeves and the hem.

This corduroy jacket feels extremely Elle Woods (this year marks the 25th anniversary ofLegally Blonde, by the way); it looks very wearable and even a bit tough. It would look great with jeans, over a babydoll dress, or even layered with a plaid flannel shirt.
