I’ve interviewed numerous outdoor-footwear designers aboutwhich winter shoes to buyand avoid, and Sorel is a brand that gets a lot of praise. Thesefaux-fur-trimmed ones look cute (very Kendall and Hailey doing après in Aspen) but are also practical. They’re made from rubber, which is the best material forwaterproofing, with suede uppers and a plush lining inside.
