What Brow Artist Kristie Streicher Buys at the Drugstore

I just used this last night at an event we hosted here at the studio. I didn’t sleep very well the night before, had a long day of work, and my eyes were a little red and irritated. Those drops not only make my eyes super-white, but they almost revitalize me. There’s something in this that makes me feel more awake — almost tingling — which is odd, but I like it. Sometimes with eye drops, my eyes will be twice as red the next day, almost from the blood rushing back in or something. I don’t find that with these. It must wear off slowly or more gently.

I was out in New York a couple weeks ago with one of my best friends who’s a hygienist. I was like, “Wesley, did you whiten your teeth?” He hadn’t and told me about thistoothpaste. He said in two weeks I’d see a difference, and I ordered it right there at the table. I made the switch from Sensodyne and I’m obsessed. First of all, it’s pink and tastes really good. Second, it actually whitens. I took an “after” photo a week ago — after maybe three weeks of using it — and I could totally see a difference. Also, I have really sensitive teeth, so I can’t do whitening, and this hasn’t given me any sensitivity.

My mom is actually the one who turned me on to this a couple years ago. I’ve tried other brands on and off but always come back to this. I have sensitive skin and sometimessunscreenswill really irritate me, like a burning sensation. This doesn’t do that at all. I feel like the brand has got it down, so I always keep this stocked.

I use this in the studio for all brow services. I like it because it’s alcohol free, so it’s non-drying and nonirritating. We cut it with saline, because that’s what we use to take off our brow-lift solutions. We don’t have to use soapy water, and water alone doesn’t take it off. I like that it’ll take any kind of oil or residue off the hair or skin. Even if a client has makeup on or something, I’ll use it. It’s so gentle but effective.

I actually just had lip blushing and usually just wear thislip glossalone. It’s super-hydrating, looks good on a clean lip, and layers well with other products. One of my celebrity clients put me on to it.

I didn’t buy this myself. A friend who’s aclean-deodorantperson swore by it and brought it home for me from a trip to Japan. She said it was from a Japanese drugstore. It’s really nice, lightweight, and effective. It doesn’t overpower and just keeps things fresh and clean. I’m still on my only one I’ve ever gotten, so it lasts a while too.

This is closer to anessencethan a toner. It’s very hydrating. My facialist,Emily Montague, recommended it to me two facials ago, so ten to 12 weeks ago. Emily taught me to layer my products from lightest to thickest, so I start with this, then add serums, then my moisturizers. This is very brightening, and my skin sucked it up like a drink of water. It really helped when I was up in the mountains. Usually my skin suffers from the dryness, but it didn’t this time.

Dr. Samolitis atFacilerecommended this to me for post-microneedling. It doesn’t clog your pores, which is important after microneedling since your skin is pretty open. But at the same time, this is also super-healing. It protects the barrier and calms any redness but is also very lightweight.

I saw this at Target the other day and was so surprised. I just love that this is water resistant, lightweight, and transparent. The spray makes it so easy to apply. It’s what I use for myself and my son when we’re at the beach. And it just smells so great — better than any other sunscreen I’ve tried.

My son Henry’s hair is fine and getting quite long — almost like a little rat’s tail — and it gets a bit tangled. I’ll just spray some of this in his hair and it immediately does the thing. It’s easy and smells great. I usually use the one from Oribe. They also make a really beautiful-smellingleave-in conditioner. They were out of stock, and I think I just found this at Target or on Amazon. I actually like it better.
