Memorial Day is almost over. Here at the Strategist, we’re excited about the day off (go to the beach!Grill some hot dogs!), but we’re also excited about the myriad ofMemorial Day sales, many of which have already started. I think it’s an especially good time to invest in furniture, especially if you’re looking for big-ticket items like abed frame,sofa, or dining table that otherwise feel like a huge splurge. It’s also a nice excuse to refresh your space a bit with some less-of-an-investment accent pieces, likelampsand mirrors. Below, I’ve rounded up some standout furniture (and décor) discounts at a bunch of retailers, from Anthropologie to West Elm — and yes, they’re listed in alphabetical order.

Don’t overlook Anthropologie for furniture. I love it for accent items to bring in unexpected color, texture, or pattern — especially when said items are 30 percent off. Here are some favorites.

Sundays is a Canadian home brand that we love for its simple, structural designs. Right now, it’s offering up to 30 percent off.
