New-Stuff Alert: Alex Mill Has Made Ballet Flats

Alex Mill used to stock other brands’ ballet flats in-store — but now the company has finally made its own. The silhouette is classic, made from a slightly shiny patent leather with a little fabric bow at the front, and available in seven shades. There are some neutral options plus a few bright ones (like Hibiscus and Sunflower) that feel very spring.

If you’re tired of wrangling a duvet into and out of its cover on the regular, consider Brooklinen’s new version. It’s a one-and-done comforter (meaning no cover at all) that has a basic stitched look, comes in five colors, and is machine washable.

Iconic California-based pottery company Heath teamed up with Mister Jiu’s, a fine-dining restaurant that’s been a staple of San Francisco’s Chinatown for the past decade, to make a small number of pieces of ceramic dinnerware. The collection, which launched last week, already sold out once — but they’re making more, and you can follow Heath’s Instagram for updates if you love anything you see.

One of my favoritecast-iron-skillet-makershas come out with a new design: a 7.5-inch lightweight model (it weighs only 2.2 pounds).
