London-based designer Matilda Goad’s collaboration with luxury shoe brand Margaux has the same sense of easy style as her colorful drawer pulls and frilly bath mats — girly without being too sweet. The collection includes four pairs of Margaux Demi Janes that come in chocolate or citron satin, pink leather, and blue denim, each with a contrasting strap.
Zara makes nice-looking and durable kids’ clothing, and the brand’s annual collection of Halloween costumes is always good. But this year, the costumes are incredible, focusing on classic heroes and monsters with a stylish twist. My personal favorites are the skeleton princess with herbone-adorned tulle gloves(which are sold separately), the toddler alien costume with a tiny eyeball at the top of the hood, and the vintage-inspired clown hat (unfortunately, the body portion of the costume has already sold out).

I’ve recently been Saucony-pilled, thanks to Strategist writer Lauren Ro and her son Solomon’sVelcro Jazz sneakers. Now, my son has the same pair, and my husband recently started wearing the brand’s New Balance–adjacentShadow 6000s. Saucony’s newest release is a line of its best-selling styles but winterized with waterproof Gore Tex. This is my favorite pair; the eye-catching yellow is perfect for early-morning bike commutes.

I have way too much clutter on my desk, but if I was building a work-from-home setup from scratch, I would absolutely be shopping Diptyque’s new line of office supplies. The mythical illustrations decorating trays and notebooks remind me of Moomin but more grown-up, thegraphic pencil potwould be a sophisticated upgrade to the novelty mug I have been using, and the cheekyblank oval Diptyque labelswould make excellent book plates.

Mustard’s metal lockers are beloved for making industrialstorage furniturelook a bit more sophisticated by way of a rainbow of expertly dialed-in colors. Now, the brand has launched a more elevated line of lockers available in all the same colors but with fluted-glass panels on the front doors and sides. You can get them in three different sizes: a wall-mounted cabinet calledthe Kit, a counter-height cabinet calledthe Mixer, and a bookshelf-height cabinet calledthe Collector.

This is a bit of a grandma thing to admit, but I am crazy about Freshcut Paper’s pop-up flower bouquets and other paper botanical creations. So I was very happy to hear the brand was launching a line of pop-up pets that come with matching fur-patterned envelopes and silly accessories. Shockingly, all five of the cats sold out in a single day, but you can still buy the dogs — at least for now.

Mel Ottenberg’s capsule collection of unisex denim and graphic tees launched with a series of very fun and convincing’80s-inspired ads. The renowned stylist and editor-in-chief ofInterviewmagazine worked with Ssense and Re/Done to re-create his favorite pair of vintage Levi’s 505s in a fit that he claims will work for just about everyone. There is also a slightly cropped ’60s-inspired denim trucker jacket and a USA-made Club Mel graphic tee that comes in two colors.

Tomorrow is October 3, a.k.a. “Mean Girls Day,” and to mark the occasion, Bratz is launching the first in a coveted line of limited-edition dolls. Cady will make her debut at 11 a.m. ET, and subsequent launches (on October 17 and October 31) will complete the set with a Regina doll and a two-pack of Gretchen and Karen dolls. Each character comes packaged in a Burn Book–shaped box with two different outfits and accessories like a flip phone and lip gloss. Because the dolls are expected to sell out very quickly, I didn’t want to wait until next week’s installment of “Don’t Dillydally” to include them.
