While Presidents’ Day is perhaps best known for deals on large home goods (mattresses, furniture, appliances, and the like), it’s also awash with fashion at discounts that can rival even Black Friday prices. So if a style steal is what you’re after, I’ve done some digging to bring you the best of what’s on offer — including sales-on-sale at Anthropologie, J.Crew, and Madewell, brand-new discounts at Everlane and Muji, and uncommon price drops at L.L.Bean and Blundstone. I’ve sung the praises of Everlane’s barrel pants before, and there are several iterations included in the brand’s current long weekend sale. While solid Everlane sales are rare, Gap sales aren’t — but finding a slouchy waxed-cotton barn jacket for 70 percent off (and available in every size) is truly something to take advantage of. And for the guys, I was very pleased to see a pair of classic Blundstones (another rarely on-sale brand) in practically every size for 25 percent off.
