Sephora’s in-house collection is also 30 percent off for Beauty Insiders, which Sephora employees have said gives you the best bang for your buck. I can attest to this: My favorite red lipstick is theCream Lip Stainin shade 01, a perfect blue-red that looks good on almost everyone. As a longtime Ami Colé fan, I was gutted when the brand closed, but luckily a few of its products are still floating around at Sephora. These include a few shades of the truly excellent concealer, which offers medium coverage and contains baobab, hibiscus, and pumpkin-seed extracts.

It’s rare to find a red lip that looks good on virtually everyone, but this one from Sephora does. It has been a go-to of mine for the better part of a decade, and the formula is nice too: lightweight but opaque and stays on throughout the day.
