The Halo Essential Wideleg Pant is made from the same stretchy DreamKnit fabric as the Performance Joggers above — the soft brushed-jersey fabric reminds me of my favorite Eberjey pajama pants but is lighter weight. Before testing these pants, I thought I’d only wear them for lounging around the house, but I quickly realized how well they work for running errands or grabbing coffee. They’re fitted through the hips, but the wide-leg silhouette makes them just the right amount of baggy. They’re super comfortable and easy to wear all day long.

Another great addition to your loungewear collection is this super-soft pair of shorts. Although technicallysweatshorts, they feel more polished thanks to the sueded French-terry fabric. I love the higher-rise fit and the comfortable, adjustable drawstring; plus, you can roll the waistband if you prefer a shorter length. These also have nice side pockets that are deep enough for my keys or a card holder.

These breezy running shorts are ideal for a range of activities thanks to the lightweight, fast-drying fabric. I tested the older Dash design, but the brand has since launched the new and improved Dash Short 2.0. I immediately noticed that the wide elastic waistband feels supercomfortable, even during a longer run or gym session.According to the product description, the updated fit has a higher rise and more space through the hip and leg, which will allow these shorts to flow even better with your movements. Another feature I love: the two deep side pockets, which have zippers for added security on my runs.

If you’re looking for new fall layers, this is similar to a French-terry sweatshirt but incardiganform. I’ve only been testing it for a short time, but it’s already my go-to for layering over a white T-shirt or ribbed tank top. While it’s a bit boxy, it doesn’t feel oversize. Instead, it’s perfectly loose with a just-right fit through the body for those casual days when I’m working from home or relaxing on the weekend.

For a lightweight cardigan, consider this more fitted style made from the brand’s signature DreamKnit fabric. I’ve been testing it with the matching wide-leg pants above, and it’s incredibly soft and breathable, making it perfect for transitional weather. If you have broad shoulders like me, I recommend sizing up, as this cardigan fits quite close to the body and might feel a bit too tight in the armpits for some.

The material is thicker than many of the other sports bras she has tried, but, she says, “I find it very breathable.” Corsillo adds that the feel of the fabric, which she describes as velvety, is the big draw. The bra runs on the small side, so you may need to size up — and beware that the breast-support band is thinner than you might find on other sports bras. “I have small boobs and took out theremovablepads because I hate those in general, but they did make it look cute,” Corsillo says. “I would totally wear it as a fashion thing under an open button-down.”

Though I haven’t been testing it for long, I was impressed with the fabric’s softness and ultralightweight feel, thanks to a mix of cotton and stretchy elastane. As for fit, the crewneck collar is super-comfortable and the torso doesn’t cling; it falls perfectly at my waist with the sleeves hitting around my bicep.

Vuori’s Kore shorts offer impressive stretch, which is why we crowned them thebest gym shortsfor yoga. “Vuori makes some of the most comfortable and durable gym shorts,” according to personal trainerAriel Brill, who likes the versatility of this pair, which are lined. They are “insanely stretchy in the crotch,” which makes them ideal for working out and lounging on the couch. The recycled polyester fabric features four-way stretch technology, and they hit well above the knee, which makes them great for exercising but not too athletic-looking for social occasions. As Cheslaw puts it, they are “somehow entirely casual enough for the beach and entirely structured enough for the city.”
