There has never been a better time for clothes shopping — or a more confusing one. Not only is there a crop of stores, likeQuince, which sells everything from caviar and cashmere to curtains and suitcases, there’s also been a return of the mall brand (welcome backGapandAbercrombie). Every shopping conquest is only a click, eBay auction, or back-in-stock notification away. It doesn’t help that the trend cycle moves faster than ever, either.
