CosRX snail-mucin essence is a popular product here at the Strategist. It regularly tops our best-sellers list. Esthetician and beauty writer Rio Viera-Newton has said it’s “one of the best healing, brightening, and moisturizing essences on the market.” The main ingredient is snail mucin, the slimy stuff snails leave behind when they crawl. It’s full of nutrients and helps with everything from dryness to dull skin. The lightweight hydrator contains 72 percent snail mucin and a peptide complex along with skin-brightening niacinamide to help with dark circles.
