Our Beauty Columnist’s Favorite Toner Pads Are Just $17
Earlier this week, our beauty columnist Rio Viera-Newton released her newly updated Google doc of skin care (in honor of the eighth anniversary of its initial release). Among the seven must-haves on her 2025 list are Mediheal’s Toner Pads, which you’ve probably seen if you spend any time on BeautyTok. While many brands make toner pads, Rio says none were as successful in helping her prevent breakouts as Mediheal’s. “This particular pad is drenched in ingredients like centella asiatica (which calms redness and inflammation), niacinamide (which helps improve skin texture), and allantoin (which calms irritation),” she says. She uses them every night and says they give an “extra oomph that makes me feel confident my skin is as clean as possible before bed, all while delivering acne-fighting and soothing ingredients to my skin.” The one downside to them (and any toner pads) is that they’re single-use, but Rio uses hers to wipe down her sink at the end of her routine, making them slightly less wasteful.
