Hidden among the heavy daffodil content of gardener and authorSean A. Pritchard’s page are some of the prettiest tablecloths we’ve seen. “I’m not particularly precious about keeping certain ones only for special occasions,” he told us. These are his favorites:

* “I love the fabrics from ODD Limited, makers of the most wonderful swinging rockers for the garden. I have two tablecloths made from the company’s collection. The one I use most often in the garden isAtlas Stripe Madder & Indigo; it was made to fit an old circular table that we eat at all spring and summer. The second tablecloth is made from itsVaas Manganese fabric, which comes from its collaboration with designer Emma Grant; it perfectly fits a small side table I use in our courtyard.
* The Thyme hotel, restaurant, and garden — nestled away in the Cotswolds — is one of my favorite places to be. You find founder and creative director Caryn Hibbert’s charming botanical illustrations on products across the whole estate, but a particular favorite of mine is theveg patch tablecloth.

*Summerill & Bishopdoes the most perfect striped tablecloths for my large kitchen table. There are a few different color options, but my favorite is the green-and-white striped; it just works so well with the orange walls of my kitchen. If you ask me, everything looks better on a striped tablecloth!
* I have a well-loved block-printed gingham tablecloth fromSZ Blockprintsthat I adore. It’s bright blue, and it’s large enough to use on my kitchen table. It completely elevates mealtimes and instantly makes me smile whenever I use it.
* I’m a big fan of the block-printed fabrics at the Cloth Shop based in West London. I have turned a few of its fabrics into tablecloths; my favorite isBlock Print No. 25. It’s the sort of tablecloth I’d use outside in our orchard for a picnic.

* DesignerMolly Mahonhas a beautiful collection of fabrics and homewares. The Dianthus Wide Stripe tablecloth is a particular favorite.”
