As amosquito magnet, I have spent my adult life searching for the most effective anti-mosquito products out there. I also generally hate the feeling of sticky skin, so I avoid mosquito-repellent sprays at all costs. Luckily, I’ve found several tools that actually help keep the pesky biters at bay, or if I do fall victim to their suck, a handy doodad that immediately soothes the bite. For a natural remedy, I actually find thesequite effective. The bracelets are infused with essential oils from citronella and lemongrass. “Hours passed without a single bite,” Corsillo added. “My father, normally the most bothered by mosquitoes, didn’t complain once. I know there were bugs around us the whole time, I saw them, but they steered clear.”

I love this thingas a post-bite remedy. It’s the simplest, but it works. As soon as you feel a bite, put this over it and pull up the lever for suction. You’ll feel immediate relief, and the bite is barely there. It’s most effective when administered right away, but it still makes you less itchy if you notice the bite a couple of hours later and try it.
