Our New Favorite Robot Vacuums Are on Sale for Amazon Prime Day
In this article
October Prime Day is here, and we’re updating this story hourly. To find the best deals in every category, follow all of our October Prime Day coverage.
It’s Prime Day again. I’ve been covering the sale for four years, and among other categories (beauty, tech, and unsexy household staples, to name a few) it’s always a reliable time for good deals on vacuums. This installment is no different: So far, I’ve found a sub-$200 cordless vacuum designed for pet hair, 20 percent off the mini version of our favorite upholstery cleaner, and $100 off one of our newly minted best-in-class vacuums. I’ll be checking throughout the day to add more deals and make sure prices are up to date and accurate. The sale continues through midnight PST tomorrow, but if you see something you like, act fast — prices and stock can be swingy, and I’ve seen popular items sell out before Prime Day ends.

A powerful Miele canister vacuum that’s especially good for households with pets: “It’s quiet and, therefore, less bothersome to animals,” Zhao writes. It was the only vacuum he could use around his two cats “without freaking them out — although I can’t promise similar results to anyone else.”

This vacuum is designed specifically to glide over mattresses, a cleaning task you don’t really need to do (my review became an accidental endorsement for mattress covers, which are highly effective at containing allergens), but it is a useful tool for cleaning upholstered furniture.
