The Best Amazon Prime Day Tech Deals From Apple, Sonos, Anker, and More
In this article
October Prime Day is here, and we’re updating this story hourly. To find the best deals in every category, follow all of our October Prime Day coverage.
It’s almost the end of this Amazon Prime Day and overall, the deals are about what we expected: Pretty much every product from every Amazon brand — from Kindles to Rings — is still at (or near) their lowest prices of the year, and many Apple products (especially AirPods), batteries, chargers, and other handy accessories are, too. What is surprising, however, is that some of the largest discounts on the most expensive items, like TVs and robot vacuums, are still available at the end of day two. Now’s the last chance to take advantage … until Black Friday.
I’ve sifted through all the tech deals this Prime Day to find a few worth considering, and I’ll be keeping an eye out for new ones throughout the next couple of days. And if you’re not ready to buy just yet, you can use our new product-save tool to keep track of them — although most of the sales expire Thursday at midnight. Be sure to sign up for the Strategist Sales Alert newsletter to receive the best deals of the day (now and after Prime Day) right to your inbox.
Deals I personally think are the best
If noise cancellation is your top priority, Bose’s QuietComfort Ultra is the best-overall noise-canceling headphone, and it’s now selling at its best-ever price in this radiant shade of Deep Plum (more boring colors can be had for $30 more). The Blueair Blue Signature is my pick for a premium air purifier because it is exceptionally powerful, quiet, and well designed for its size — and it’s on sale for its lowest price ever. The Samsung Frame TV doesn’t have the best image quality in its price range, but it does look a lot more attractive than your average TV when mounted on a living room wall. At its current price — another all-time low — it’s easier to forgive these minor shortcomings.
The XGIMI MoGo 4’s lower price and flexible, built-in stand make it a giftable choice for teens and college students — this is the first significant discount I’ve seen on this relatively new product. Nomad’s Find My–compatible ultraslim wallet tracker is also discounted for the first time and would make a nice stocking stuffer for the forgetful folks in your life (perhaps, like me, you count yourself among them). I love my Sonos Aces because they’re the only over-ear headphones that don’t hurt my head when I wear them for hours at a time. They’re currently selling for the same price as they did last Prime Day.
The 0.3-inch-thick Anker Nano Ultra-Slim is perfect for extending the battery life on your new iPhone Air. The Sonos Era 300 is one of the best ways to experience spatial audio in your home, and it rarely ever goes on sale. It’s also one of the few smart speakers that allows you to disable the microphone with a hard-wired switch. Finally, the Roku Smart-TV Pro Series already performs better than anything cheaper at its regular price, but it’s now 37 percent off.
